We can see the Milky Way on our first night in Big Bend National Park. This trip is amazing.

i have the opportunity to go out west for a week and camp and hike and be free and dammit i’m going to go. why was I considering not going?

I’ve decided to go on a trip in late October. The destination will be Big Bend National Park, the Guadalupe Mountains National Park, and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. West to Texas, basically.

Mountains, caves, and the desert.

Camping and hiking.

I’m so incredibly excited. I feel like I’m just counting down the days. Mini road trips until then. One being an abandoned town called Ellaville.

I’ve got lots of saving to do and I have a lot of work to do to make sure I’m physically  able to do all of this.

i was on a road trip… to a beach type place. I can’t remember where to. But we ended up at a restaurant on the bay in the middle of a storm. i ate oysters. they were bearable.
